If you find an identical item at a lower price from another furniture store, we will gladly match it. It's our way of ensuring you get the best deal while also saying thank you for your continued support.

"Better Price" Guidelines

 

To ensure a smooth and fair process for everyone, please review the following terms and conditions of our price-match policy.

1. Qualifying for a Price Match

 

The item you wish to price match must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Identical Item: The product must be exactly the same, including brand, model, size, color, and any included accessories or features. The item must be new and in its original packaging.

  • In-Stock & Available: The competitor's item must be currently in stock and available for immediate purchase at the lower price.

  • Qualifying Competitors: We will only match prices from established, legitimate retail stores with a physical presence within the North Island. We do not match prices from auction sites (like Trade Me), membership clubs, liquidators, or online-only marketplaces.

  • Valid Proof of Price: We must be able to verify the price by a current, public advertisement, print ad, or a digital link showing the lower price. The date of the advertisement must be within 30 days of your purchase date.

  • No Special Offers: We do not match prices that are part of a special offer, such as clearance sales, "buy one, get one free" deals, limited-quantity sales, going-out-of-business sales, or special promotions.

2. How to Request a Price Match

 

To request a price match, simply provide us the valid proof of the lower price. Our team can verify the details of the item and the price on the spot.

3. Price Match Exclusions

 

The "Better Price" does not apply to the following:

  • Online Prices: We do not match prices from online-only retailers or websites that do not have a physical retail presence.

  • Clearance & Final Sale Items: We will not match prices for discontinued, clearance, or "final sale" items.

  • Service & Installation: Our price match policy applies only to the product price, not to additional services like delivery, assembly, or installation fees.

  • Associated Costs: We factor in all associated costs, such as interest, shipping, delivery, and payment fees when determining the final price match.

  • Errors: We reserve the right to decline a price match if the competitor's advertised price is a result of a typographical error.

Please note: The price match is a request and is subject to verification and approval. The decision to approve a price match is at the sole discretion of Bartons.
